Azal and Ashraf hit tons in RCA-SAIB T20

RIYADH — Azal and Ashraf smashed centuries in round five of the RCA-SAIB T20 Afternoon matches were halted by a sandstorm.
Huraymala League
Al-Babtain thumped Pak Force by 4 runs in a nail-biting finish. Al-Babtain scored 187 for 6. Iqbal top scored with 53 and Abbas made 38. Imran took 3 wickets. Pak Force managed only 183. Mudasir (42) and Mohsin (39) batted well. Rizwan took 3 wickets and Imran 2.
Punjab Lions were humbled by Yusafzai-XI by 5 wickets. Punjab Lions put on 198, which Yusafzai overhauled in the 18th over. Mohsin (89) and Usman (60) took the team to victory.
Imran-XI downed Kohsar by 7 wickets. Kohsar was bowled out for 152 in 17.1 overs. Saqib scored 55 and Qasim 21. Imran-XI was home in 15 overs for the loss of 3 wickets.
In matches affected by bad weather, Saudi Jaguars scored 194 for 8 against Fuchs. Farhan scored 53 and Danish 36. Javed and Riaz took 2 wickets each. The Fuchs inning could not be completed.
Sulaiman-XI posted 294 for 5 against Desert Falcons. Afzal smashed a brilliant 135 and Akhtar hit 81. Desert Falcons had scored 25 for 2 before the match was called off.
Diriyah League
AKCC Blues thrashed Nouman Gymkhana by 125 runs. AKCC Blues piled up 263 for 5 with Baloch scoring 75, Mohsin 40 and Waqar 38. Nouman Gymkhana fumbled to 138 in 17 overs. Usman picked up 3 wickets, while Mohsin and Ali took 2 each.
Youngsters lost to Saham by 7 runs. Saham posted 210 for 8. Nasir (48), Ovais (46) and Yasir (39) starred with the bat. Asmat bagged 3 wickets and Abdulrahman 2. Youngsters was restricted to 203 for 9. Farman (53) and Anis (50) smashed fifties, while Yasir added 42. Tahir and Naveed took 2 wickets each.
Challengers-XI downed Saudi Zaas by 8 wickets. Saudi Zaas collected 175 with Suhail hitting 62 and Danish 45. Anish and Laxmi picked up 3 wickets each. Challengers-XI reached the target in 14.4 overs. Ashraf blasted 116 in 53 balls.
Pak Saudi Warriors thumped ULCC by 112 runs. Pak Saudi Warriors amassed a huge total of 259 for 5. Sajid (62), Asim (58), Bilal (53) and Raza (52) smashed fifties. Shaji took 3 wickets. ULCC was restricted to 147 for 6. Sarfras top scored with 54. Usman clinched 4 wickets.
Kashmir-XI beat Phoenix by 50 runs. Kashmir-XI scored 183 for 9 with Owais (45) and Azhar (42) batting well. Asif took 3 wickets, while Haseeb and Obaid bagged 2 each. Phoenix managed 133. Haseeb hit 38 as Majid took 4 wickets, while Shabir and Showkat took 2 each.
Bannu Eagles downed Delhi Dare Devils 90 runs. Bannu Eagles posted 212-7. Sadiq scored 64 and Saad 42. Sultan took 3 wickets and Ramzan 2. Delhi Dare Devils was restricted to 122.
