Partial collapse of pedestrian bridge on Al-Haramain Road

JEDDAH – Jeddah Municipality said at about 11.00 am Wednesday a pedestrian bridge on Al-Haramain Road in Al-Muntazahat district partially collapsed due to a truck colliding with it. Jeddah Municipality and Jeddah Traffic Department sent teams to the scene of the accident, SPA said.
The municipality said there were no casualties due to the accident. The debris resulting from the partial collapse was removed and the truck driver was taken into custody. The bridge was closed for the necessary maintenance works. — SPA
