YANBU — Three Arab expatriates sustained second and third degree burns after a fire broke out in their residence. Madinah Civil Defense spokesman Col. Khalid Al-Jihani said the victims were transported to Yanbu Hospital after they tried to extinguish the fire themselves which further flamed the fire and caused the burns. The Civil Defense suspects the cause of the fire to be a gas leak but is still investigating the incident. Madinah Red Crescent spokesman Khalid Al-Sahli said two of the victims suffered second degree burns while the third victim had third degree burns and internal bleeding.
