SIG Combibloc Obeikan opens new regional HQs

SIG Combibloc Obeikan, a leading system supplier of aseptic carton packaging and filling lines, has opened its new regional headquarters in Dubai Silicon Oasis, the integrated free zone technology hub.
The event was attended by board members of SIG Combibloc Obeikan, as well as Dr. Juma Al Matrooshi, Executive VP – Commercial at DSOA, Eng. Muammar Al Katheeri, Executive Vice President – Engineering Management at DSOA, senior DSOA and SIG Combibloc Obeikan officials, and key customers.
The new headquarters, which saw AED55 million investment and completed in record time of 10 months, validates the seamless partnership between SIG Combibloc Obeikan and Dubai Silicon Oasis. Spanning an area of over 4,153 square meters, the regional headquarters includes three office floors for regional support functions, a state-of-the-art training center, an advanced knowledge academy with five well-equipped classrooms and seven multi-functional visitor and staff meeting rooms fitted out with audiovisual facilities. The building can accommodate close to 180 staff in order to meet the company's regional growth needs.

The facility is the fifth training center of SIG Combibloc globally (besides Brazil, Germany, Thailand and China), the second regionally (besides Riyadh), and the first site globally to combine the regional headquarters, knowledge academy and training center. — SG
