With regard to the article "Islamic dialogue can solve the major problems of society" (Mar. 14), it is said that argument is the longest distance between two points. Indeed, that also defines dialogue. However, instead of Islamizing the Greek/Latin method of dialogue, which has not done much good yet, why not take the easiest and well tried road of Mushawarat or the Shoura. Here the criterion is the Holy Qur'an. The road of Shariah has well-placed checkpoints that do not obstruct but rather facilitate the amicable resolution of conflicts.
