With reference to the article "Al-Azhar chief urges education reform to curb extremism" (Feb. 23), it is often emphasized that perceptions are more important than the reality. Indeed, many times they may seem to prevail over facts but, in the short and the long term, truth invariably prevails. That is the moral of the history of the world from day one of human creation to the timeless future. Muslims are overwhelmed by propaganda from all around.
