Teen arrested over murder

JEDDAH — An 18-year-old Saudi was arrested for shooting a compatriot dead on Sunday. Makkah Police spokesman Lt. Col. Ati Al-Qurashi said the victim, also 18, was shot in his heart and paramedics rushed him to hospital but he died on the way. The police arrested the other man, who claims he never intended to kill the victim. He is currently in custody until further procedures are taken.
