RIYADH – A policeman died of bullet wounds on Monday following an attack by a criminal wanted in connection with a murder case. Spokesman of Riyadh police said the criminal shot at the policeman during a raid on a house. “When the policeman tried to catch the criminal, he shot at him. The policeman who sustained serious injuries was taken to hospital where he died,” the spokesman said. Meanwhile, two officials of the traffic department were injured when a colleague fired at them. According to police, an official fired at one of his colleagues outside their office. The second official sustained bullet wounds accidentally during the firing.
