BARCELONA – Just a day before the Mobile World Congress officially kicked off, Huawei held an event to bring everyone up to date and revealed its new products. With the attendance of a huge number of media representatives from all over the world at the global press conference, Huawei unveiled a series of wearable devices including the first Android wear watch, TalkBand B2 (fitness tracker), and TalkBand N1 (health tracker), for consumers to stay connected. For auto drivers, Huawei unveiled its in-car 4G LTE mobile WiFi device, Huawei CarFi. Inspired by the elegant lines of a golf club and boasting premium materials for added durability, Huawei CarFi converts vehicles into WiFi hotspots on wheels for added convenience in daily life. Delivering download speeds of up to 150 Mbps and connectivity for up to 10 devices, Huawei CarFi can be easily transferred from one vehicle to another. To showcase how innovation can benefit the consumer, Huawei has put the Huawei CarFi into use and 400 branded vehicles in Barcelona, Spain, during Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2015 will allow passengers to connect on-the-go. “At Huawei, we aim to be one step ahead in providing great technology that meets connectivity needs in every aspect of life. Moreover, Huawei also introduced the 7-inch MediaPad X2, featuring a fully laminated 7-inch ultra HD IPS screen and a slim body of only 7.28 mm, the MediaPad X2 houses an ultra octa-core chipset, making it the first 64-bit ultra octa-core, 4G-enabled LTE dual-sim phablet. “Following the success of the Huawei MediaPad X1, and having inherited the signature feature of our large screen design, the Huawei MediaPad X2 represents our faith and commitment in creating better quality products with our technology and innovation.” said Richard Yu, CEO, Huawei Consumer Business Group.
