LONDON — British heavyweight Tyson Fury called out WBO champion Wladimir Klitschko after defeating Romanian Christian Hammer to retain his European title in London. Fury, 26, prevailed in the eighth round at London's O2 Arena Saturday evening when Hammer's corner threw in the towel, taking the towering Manchester fighter's record to 24-0-0. Fury is the mandatory challenger for Klitschko's WBO crown and he told BoxNation after the fight: “I want Klitschko next.” Talks are reportedly underway between Fury and Klitschko's camps about a fight in the United Kingdom, while Fury is also plotting a subsequent unification bout with WBC champion Deontay Wilder. — Reuters
