HAMBURG: Ahead of Saturday's unification bout, Wladimir Klitschko's trainer Emanuel Steward says he expects the same hit-and-run tactics from David Haye as the British champion used to win his world heavyweight title. Klitschko, the IBF and WBO heavyweight title-holder, takes on WBA champion David ‘Hayemaker' Haye in Hamburg in a winner-takes-all unification bout. This will be only Haye's fifth heavyweight fight since stepping up from cruiserweight in 2008 and Steward expects the same tactics the Brit used for his 2009 fight against Russian giant Nikolai Valuev when he won the WBA title. Haye has said he will show something new come Saturday night. But Steward says he expects Haye to move in fast, strike and then get clear of Klitschko, who is ready to inflict the 50th knockout of his career on the man who has antagonized him by calling him ‘a fraud' and ‘Bitchko' in the past. “David, regardless of what he might say he is going to do, will come out and fight the way he fought Valuev and in all his other fights against big guys,” said the 66-year-old Steward. “We have seen all the tapes of David Haye and we know all about him. He'll move out of the way, explode at select times and stand at a distance. Wladimir is going to have to force the fight.” But despite plenty of confidence in the Klitschko camp, Steward insists his fighter has not met anyone with Haye's belief or confidence since he fought Samuel Peter in 2005. Six years ago, the Ukrainian was knocked down three times, but got back up to outpoint the Nigerian and has won nine of his ten fights since inside the distance. “Haye brings to the ring, speed, power and the mindset of a winner,” said Steward. “He's confident and that's something Wladimir hasn't experienced since his first fight with Sam Peter.” “There's a whole new energy that Haye brings that Wladimir has not had to deal with since then.” Haye has wasted no opportunity to trash-talk Hamburg-resident Klitschko, who has promised to give him some ‘reality rehab' Saturday night. The brash Brit took things to a new low Wednesday when he posted a link on his Twitter feed to a video of a clip from the film about Nazi leader Adolf Hitler's final days in his Berlin bunker. The film clip is in German, but the subtitles have been modified to show Hitler supposedly talking about Saturday's fight and dismissing Klitschko's chances. The British Boxing Board of Control are investigating Haye and have warned the Londoner about his conduct. Klitschko is unimpressed by Haye's behavior and said he is getting bored with the constant provocation. “It's just trash,” said the Ukrainian. “His behavior is disgraceful and disrespectful but, to be frank with you, I'm getting bored with all of it and with him.' – Agence France
