JAZAN — A man in his 30s was arrested for murdering another man in his 50s for performing ruqyah (Islamic spiritual healing) on Friday. Jazan Police spokesman Capt. Abdulrahman Al-Zahrani said the killer coaxed the victim into his abandoned house, saying he wanted his services in blessing the home. The man then shot him five times but the victim was struck by three of the bullets. He added that the victim managed to get help from passersby and police transported him to hospital, but he died on the way. The police arrested the murder suspect and said he confessed to his crime. He told officers that his motive was a fight he had with the victim.
