Saudi Gazette report RIYADH – Prince Sultan Bin Salman, president of the Supreme Commission for Tourism and Antiquities (SCTA), issued the first license for desert tourism tent project in Al-Ola region in Madinah Province. The project represents ecofriendly tourism tents, managed and operated by young Saudi investors in Al-Ola where the UNESCO's World Heritage site of Madain Saleh is located. The project would consist of 20 tents on an area covering 10,000 sq. meters, and those who want desert picnicking can enjoy traditional Saudi desert life there, the Saudi Press Agency reported. There will be facilities for camel riding, exploration trips, safari trips on motor cycles and four wheelers and other recreations, it added.
