AL Rabie Saudi Foods Company Ltd. has participated in the recently concluded “Gulfood 2015” exhibition – the world's biggest annual food, beverage and hospitality show – held in Dubai. Al Sharif Monther Trad Alharthi, CEO of Al Rabie Saudi Foods Company Ltd., said: “Al Rabie, the leading dairy and juice company participated effectively in the 20th round of Gulfood exhibition with diversified and featured range of products, in addition to participation in some activities such as holding series of strategic meetings and forums to discuss key issues that contribute to the development of food and beverages sector.”
Monther said Al Rabie Saudi Foods Company is always proactive to represent the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in this important event and in the previous rounds as well. The company coordinates its efforts in this respect with many partners in the export fields in order to market its brand name and inform many countries about the development witnessed by the juice and food industry in the Kingdom. This is in addition to financing a number of activities which helps the company keep its leading position in Saudi Arabia, GCC countries and the Middle East.
Monther praised the role played by Gulfood in establishing Dubai as a leading destination for commerce, hospitality, logistic services and food industry in the world during the last three decades.
“Gulfood 2015 provided unique trading opportunities for visitors to choose from a wide range of food products from around the world and entering into contracts with their suppliers. The event also allowed visitors to know the latest trends and innovations in food, beverages, food services, hospitality equipment, restaurants and cafes requirements and many other aspects related to food and hospitality sectors.
The opportunities were also enhanced by the Gulfood's hosting of the “Halal Food World" exhibition, which attracted 50,000 halal food products this year and succeeded in consolidating its position as the largest annual trade show for the halal food sources in the world. — SG
