MADINAH — The evacuation of areas in Madinah to make way for the expansion of the Prophet's Mosque had been postponed till after the Haj pilgrimage. The committee supervising the project said the postponement was requested by the Madinah Governorate. The demolition of buildings for the expansion was scheduled to start on April 20 but the committee said a new date would be announced later. It will cover the properties on the area between King Faisal Street from the north to King Fahd Street in the west.
