(Standing) Primavera course attendees. — Courtesy photo JEDDAH — A five-day course of Primavera P6 was organized by KBN Engineering college Gulbarga Alumni Jeddah chapter for Indian engineers recently. Regional Manager Dallah Trane Mohammed Mansour attended the function as chief guest while Syed Nasir Khursheed, president KBN alumni, presided over the event. Primavera trainer Ajaz Hussain, PCS Manager Turner Arabia, who trained Indian engineers in the primavera course, asked attendees to benefit from the course by implementing what they have studied in order to get upgraded in their working place. Khursheed said: “Primavera is an important tool for engineers of all faculties working on different projects.” He advised engineers to continue the learning process by doing certification courses which are the need of hour. He appreciated the role of President of Khaja Education society Mohammed Hussaini and Professor Ruksar Fatima for their patronage to the alumni and their continuous support. Mansour appreciated the activities of KBNCE alumni in helping fellow engineers by conducting the courses. Chief coordinator of the alumni Mohammed Yahiya officially welcomed all the guests. He said: “It is great honor for all of us that we the alumnus of the KBNCE got this opportunity to conduct technical programs for our engineers here in Jeddah and we are committed to conduct more technical events for fellow engineers.” Treasurer Saleh Bin Ali said to meet the challenges of current era, the team of alumni executive committee are striving to help other alumnus by providing training courses to refine professionalism. Overwhelming response and feedback was given by attendees who appreciated the teaching method of Hussain, as he had explained everything in a very simple way. The sessions were interactive and participants enjoyed it and greatly benefited from it, according to organizers. Engr Abubakr Bin Hussain, joint treasurer, said: “Through this platform we would like to inform other KBN Alumnus who have not yet joined our alumni to kindly contact us and join the alumni.” Syed Qutbuddin Bakhtiar Ali, IT coordinator, and Tabrez Hussain, cultural secretary, informed the attendees about the annual event of the alumni, which is being planned, in addition to a technical seminar QA/QC and the launch of a magazine. He requested alumni members to send technical articles for the magazine to [email protected] Earlier, the program started with the recitation of a few verses from the Qur'an by Mohammed Abdul Rasheed; Syed Mohiuddin, general secretary, introduced the guests, and highlighted the aims and objectives of the alumni and conducted the proceedings. The program concluded with the vote of thanks by joint secretary Mohammed Imdad Ali, profoundly thanking Hussain for spending his precious time to train fellow engineers.
