17 Ethiopian women, smuggler arrested

BISHA, Asir — Seventeen female Ethiopian illegal expatriates were arrested along with their smuggler on Friday while attempting to enter the capital. Asir Border Guard Field Supervisor Master Sgt. Ali Al-Shahrani said the smuggler charged each woman SR2,500 to smuggle them from Khamis Mushayt into Riyadh. The smuggler told guards the women were his family.
