Firstly, it is the families' responsibility to raise their children away from the extremists. No need to send children to summer camps where many extremists go, too. They fool families by saying that there will be entertainment activities for kids but actually they feed them poison ideology. It is also the responsibility of the intellectuals in the Kingdom and other Arab countries to enlighten the youths, speak with them and not ignore their issues when they discuss them in social media. Some intellectuals are arrogant and think it is shameful to debate with the youths that's why youths can't get along with them. Without playing your role well, the extremists will be their alternative. Najeeb Alrefaee If parents impart good education of both deen (faith) and dunya (worldly affairs) to their children, no extremism on earth can touch them or brainwash them. For whatever crime or behavior of the youth, parents are responsible. If we don't teach our children the Islamic ethics, our children are bound to commit sins and wrongdoings. If every parent concentrates on the upbringing of their children and make them loyal citizens, then there will be no problem and troubles on earth. Parents should instill in their children the fear of God at an early age so they will not become rebellious and respect their elders, teachers and also people of other religions. If parents don't teach religious education to their kids, as they grow old the kids may come across terrorists who brainwash them with wrong teachings and jihad. Without teaching them about the good things of Islam, youth with little knowledge of their religion, tend to get involve in terror activities. Shabana Taqui
