DETRIOT — Kyrie Irving scored 38 points and LeBron James added 32 points as the Cleveland Cavaliers defeated Detroit 103-95 Tuesday for their seventh NBA victory in a row. Australian guard Irving, who scored 16 points in the fourth quarter, made 13-of-23 shots from the floor and added six assists and three steals for the Cavaliers. Four-time NBA Most Valuable Player James contributed seven assists and six rebounds and he netted 10 points in the fourth quarter as the Cavaliers improved to 7-1 since James returned from back and knee injuries. Tristan Thompson came off the Cleveland bench to grab 12 rebounds. D.J. Augustin scored 19 points and passed off nine assists while Greg Monroe added 17 points and 12 rebounds for Detroit. Cleveland improved to 26-20, fifth in the Eastern Conference, and 11-11 in road contests while the Pistons, who lost their third in a row and fourth in five games, fell to 17-29. The Cavaliers avenged a 103-80 home loss to the Pistons last month. Bulls 113, Warriors 111 (OT): Derrick Rose hit a tie-breaking 21-footer with seven seconds remaining in overtime giving the Chicago Bulls a victory that ended the Golden State Warriors' home winning streak at 19 games. Rose finished with 30 points for the Bulls (30-17), who also got 18 points apiece from Pau Gasol and Joakim Noah. Chicago was without shooting guard Jimmy Butler (illness) and small forward Mike Dunleavy (sprained right ankle). Klay Thompson scored 30 points to lead the Warriors (36-7) but he missed a 12-footer at the overtime buzzer to end the game. David Lee added 24 off the bench for Golden State. Grizzlies 109, Mavericks 90: Down two starters and on the road, the Memphis Grizzlies rolled over the Dallas Mavericks. Zach Randolph scored 22 and All-Star center Marc Gasol added 15 points for the Grizzlies, who were without point guard Mike Conley and small forward Tony Allen. Midwest Division-leading Memphis (33-12) has won eight of nine games since Randolph's return from injury, with the lone setback being against Dallas last week. The Mavericks (30-16) got 19 points apiece from Chandler Parsons and Tyson Chandler but lost their third straight. Raptors 104, Pacers 91: The Atlantic Division-leading Toronto Raptors continue to beat sub-.500 opponents, using strong play during the final three quarters to defeat the Indiana Pacers. DeMar DeRozan had 24 points, and Kyle Lowry added 19. Toronto (30-15) improved to 21-4 against teams with losing records, which includes the Pacers (16-31). Rodney Stuckey led Indiana with 22 points, and forward Solomon Hill had 15. Bucks 109, Heat 102: The Miami Heat first lost shooting guard Dwyane Wade to a right hamstring injury in the third quarter, then lost the game altogether as the Milwaukee Bucks prevailed. Milwaukee, which outscored the Heat in bench points by a 54-15 margin, improved to 3-0 against Miami this season. The Bucks (23-22) had seven scorers in double figures, led by Brandon Knight and Khris Middleton, each with 17 points. Wade's injury marks the third time he has hurt one of his hamstrings this season. He missed seven games in November with a left hamstring injury and was out for two games earlier this month with the same injury. Wizards 98, Lakers 92: John Wall had 21 points, 13 assists and nine rebounds, leading the Washington Wizards to a victory over the Los Angeles Lakers. — Agencies
