INDIANAPOLIS — Roy Hibbert scored 22 points and powered a tough defensive performance to spark the Indiana Pacers, the NBA's top team, over the Toronto Raptors 86-79 Tuesday. The Pacers won for the eighth time in nine games, avenging their only loss in that span which came at Toronto on New Year's Day, and improved their league-best record to 28-6 while the Raptors fell to 16-17. Indiana's Lance Stephenson had 13 points, 10 rebounds and eight assists while Paul George struggled with foul trouble and scored only 11 points. The Pacers held the Raptors to only 37 percent shooting from the court while Indiana connected on 21 of 26 free throw attempts, led by Hibbert's 12-for-13 night at the line. DeMar DeRozan led Toronto with 28 points, while reserve Patrick Patterson netted 20 for the Raptors, who lost their second in a row after a season-high five-game win streak. Spurs 110, Grizzlies 108 (OT): The San Antonio Spurs squandered a 12-point lead with 1:59 left in regulation before they recovered to hold off Memphis in overtime. Manu Ginobili hit a driving layup with 1.8 seconds left in overtime to clinch the game for San Antonio. Spurs' forward Tim Duncan finished with 24 points and 17 rebounds. Memphis ended the fourth quarter with a 14-2 run that featured a buzzer-beating layup by guard Mike Conley and sent the game into overtime. Conley scored a season-high 30 points for Memphis. Jazz 112, Thunder 101: Gordon Hayward scored 17 of his career-high 37 points in the fourth quarter to lead the Utah Jazz to a surprise win over the Oklahoma City Thunder. Hayward also grabbed 11 rebounds and dished out seven assists to overshadow a strong performance from Kevin Durant and help the Jazz to their best biggest win of a rough season.
