King Saud University's Social Responsibility Club has implemented the fourth phase (1436H) of the “Winter Clothes” program under the sponsorship of Al Rabie Company. The program has benefited in its third year over 280 needy families in Alkhazzan and Alsabbalah districts in Riyadh. The program also contributed to provide these families with heaters, blankets, substantial amounts of juices, milk products and other food stuff, lifting the number of beneficiary families to 800 families. Al Sharif Munzer Al Harthi, CEO of Al Rabie Saudi Foods Company Ltd., praised the leading role played by King Saud University through its Social Responsibility Club in serving the community and paying attention to this needy category, helping it to cope with the winter season. The “Winter Clothes” Program is one of the voluntary and charitable programs that Al Rabie is keen to sustain, given its effective role in enhancing the company's efforts to help and support the needy members of the community cope with winter's harsh climate. This is in addition to the means given by the program to encourage the voluntary work concept among the company's employees, offering the possibility to involve them directly in implementing the company's initiatives and participate in the success of its purposes, in a practical way that reflects the ethical values governing Al Rabie Company's activities. Al Sharif Munzer Al Harthi confirmed that Al Rabie Saudi Foods Company is active in the social responsibility fields and has many charitable programs directed to the community, and has effective social programs to its credit. Al Sharif affirmed the role of the company in establishing the spirit of citizenship and supporting the community development culture that leads to sustainable development. He noted that doing so is the commitment of Al Rabie toward consumers, society and the environment surrounding it.
