DAMMAM — A family of seven was injured on the Dammam-Riyadh Highway after their car overturned, said Eastern Province Red Crescent Authority spokesman Fahad Al-Ghamdi. The injured, included three children, two men, and two women and they were rushed to several hospitals as some of them sustained severe injuries in the accident, which according to eyewitnesses happened after the driver lost control of the vehicle. Doctors said the victims would survive although some of them would remain in hospital for a while until their wounds healed. Meanwhile, a man died while another was injured in Makkah when their car tipped over on Khawajat Road. Speeding was blamed for the accident.
