DAMMAM – A child was run over by a speeding car while he and his mother were trying to cross Dhahran-Dammam Expressway opposite Al-Atheem Mall. Due to the impact of the accident, the child's body was thrown several meters ahead. The mother was overcome with emotion and began screaming and shouting. Eastern Province Red Crescent spokesman Fahd Al-Ghamdi said the child sustained severe injuries and was rushed to Al-Maneh Hospital.
