JEDDAH — An Arab expatriate jumped off the Seaport Bridge while running away from police. The young man stole a car when its owner left its engine running while buying something from the grocers, said Makkah Province Police spokesman Lt. Col. Ati Al-Qurashi. When police vehicles closed in on him, he hit two cars, got out of the vehicle and all of a sudden jumped off the bridge. He sustained several fractures and was rushed to hospital. Investigations are ongoing.
