UAE's booming luxury sector makes way for more Waldorf Astoria Hotels & Resorts at Palm Jumeirah

Tucked away at the end of Palm Jumeirah, lies the new Waldorf Astoria Hotels & Resorts property. The brand new property with 319 rooms just launched their Royal Suite with unique arrival preferences.
It also happens to be the largest suite in Dubai. Your choice of chauffeur can vary from a Bentley or alternatively a private helicopter to land on the seaside helipad. Just to avoid traffic, of course.
The Royal Suite is spread over 1567 meter-square area with Arabic motifs, including large balconies, two private en-suite bedrooms, Majlis and huge indoor spaces.
You can host private dinner parties curating a dining experience where the chefs personally present each dish and engage with guests.
The Royal Suite can also be used for corporate events and receptions hosting up to 50 people.
For others, also referred to as ‘classic guests' your journey begins with personal concierge, a Waldorf Astoria concept that hopes to personalize your experience every step of the way.
VIPs are also escorted to the private lift, located in the VIP arrival area adjacent to the lobby.
Besides the fact that the massive property is new, it is perhaps the most relaxing and pacific choice.
The staggering views of Dubai skyline including Burj Al Arab, private islands and the Atlantis from your beachfront rooms are worth waking up to.
Let alone watching the sunrise till sunset at their private pools that are devoid of crowds and deafening screams of children. Yes, you have guessed it.
The key to this property is undeniable comfort but also the luxury of peace, which is hard to find in a touristic paradise like Dubai. Lets hope it stays the same when operating at full capacity.
Perfect for a getaway to sanity, but still within reach of the city's enthusiasm. Apt for families, or couples who want to spend some time alone at the Palm.
It also poses less drama and attention, which is great for renowned personalities or celebrities.
All rooms represent a minimalistic character used to design the rooms with an air of sophistication. The hotel uses a neutral palette of warm woods, turquoise with crème and gold for interiors.
They also use Salvatore Ferragamo toiletries and essentials in the luxurious white marbled bathrooms with a hint of gold wherever necessary.
Waldorf Astoria Hotels & Resorts property is Hilton's brand of landmark hotels. The most popular ones with the Saudis is of course the one in New York.
This property embodies the same virtue and offers lavish spas and culinary outlets. With six restaurants and lounges where you can even smoke shisha by the pool, the hotel offers a lounge access to a huge space dedicated to serving snacks and drinks throughout the day, overlooking their private beach.
You can also use their tennis court, extensive fitness center and enjoy the numerous water sports, but remember this needs advance notice.
Atlantis and all resorts are close by and the main city is just a 15-minute drive. The hotel can also arrange desert dune buggy rides with traditional Arabic entertainment activities.
You might have to wait for city cabs so prepare yourself. A bit far from the city center but you can dedicate a weekend away from the usual mundane life, soak in the sun at the beach, indulge in culinary pleasure and relax at the spa. And just thank God it is not as crowded as its neighbors.
“We are proud to present the ultimate luxury suite experience to Dubai. Since officially opening in March, we have been tirelessly working towards revealing the largest suite in Dubai.
This palatial sanctuary will host world renowned celebrities, royalty, and international dignitaries for the most distinguished events Dubai has ever seen,” Jan Moenkedieck, General Manager.
