Woman dead, husband injured in accident

MAKKAH — A road accident killed a woman and injured her husband near the holy city. Makkah Red Crescent spokesman Ali Abdullah Al-Ghamdi said they received a report of the accident 30 km west of Makkah. “We dispatched a team from the Red Crescent to the scene to resuscitate the woman but she died from a head injury. The injured husband was transported to Al-Noor Hospital for treatment. The cause of the accident is yet to be determined,” Al-Ghamdi said.
