JEDDAH — Prince Alwaleed Bin Talal Bin Abdulaziz Alsaud, Chairman of Kingdom Holding Company (KHC), met with 31 heads of state during the 15th Francophonie Summit at the International Conference Center of Dakar recently. The prince went to the 15th Francophonie Summit in response to an invitation of Macky Sall, president of the Republic of Senegal. The summit aims at further strengthening the current investment and economic relations within the Francophonie countries. The summit was attended by French President François Hollande, prime ministers and top ranking government representatives. Prince Alwaleed discussed political, economic and investment issues with the heads of states and other government representatives he met at the Summit. He was accompanied by a delegation which included Dr. Nahla Nasser Alanbar, private executive assistant to the Kingdom Holding's chairman, Dr. Jihad Aoukal, private physician, Hassna Al-Turki, department dead, travel and external affairs, Hassan Moukhtar, advisor, Fahad Bin Saad Bin Nafel, executive assistant and Kacy Grine, advisor. In 2013, Prince Alwaleed received Youssou N'Dour, Minister of Tourism and Culture of the Republic of Senegal and an accompanying delegation. In the same year, Prince Alwaleed visited Senegal and met with President Sall at the presidential palace. Prince Alwaleed had visited Senegal in 2003, and met with the former president. During his visit, he was awarded the highest national award, the rank of “Grand Officer of The National Order of The Lion", in recognition of his visit. Prince Alwaleed had donated through the Alwaleed Bin Talal Foundation-Global for the development of health and education projects there. — SG
