MAKKAH — The number of deaths resulting from traffic accidents in Makkah in 2013-2014 dropped by 8 percent compared to the previous year, according to a report issued by the city's Traffic Department. The number of traffic-related injuries saw a 9.5 percent decline during the same period, it said, adding that accident rates dropped especially on roads covered by the Saher system. The Traffic Department attributed the drop to motorists complying with the speed limits.
