Majlad, a Saudi graduate of Arar Technical College, has sought the help of the National Human Rights Society (NHRS) to gain admission to the Northern Border University's College of Computer Science. Al-Majlad, who obtained a grade of Excellent at technical college, took recourse to the society when authorities at the university repeatedly rejected his application. The university asked Al-Majlad to bring an official authorization letter from the Minister of Higher Education, which was duly provided, but when he was rejected yet again he decided to turn to the NHRS.
