BALJURASHI, Baha – Police here have detained an old woman in her 60s and her son for allegedly stealing her sister's money and jewelry. The victim dug a hole in her house and hid SR100,000 in cash and jewelry worth SR70,000 for safekeeping because she was traveling to Jeddah. Her sister, however, was allegedly watching her and dug out the money and jewelry with her when the property was clear. When the victim returned from her trip she discovered the disappearance of her money and jewelry and notified police. Investigations identified the sister and her son as the suspects and they were detained for further questioning.
