RIYADH — The project of Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah for providing iftar (fast-breaking meal) to the needy people abroad in Ramadan has benefited more than 2 million Muslims in 41 countries. According to the director general for external relations at the Ministry of Islamic Affairs, Abdul Majeed Al-Amry, the project distributes more than 35,000 iftar meals daily during the holy month. In a telephone call to the Saudi Press Agency from Buenos Aires, Argentina, he said the meals are mainly distributed inside mosques and Islamic centers.
