Al-Wehdah stunned Al-Hilal by holding the defending champion to a goalless draw in the Saudi Premier League at the King Fahd International Stadium in Riyadh Tuesday. The upset draw, however, lifted Al-Hilal to 17 points and the second place, five points behind the league leader Al-Ittihad. In another match at the Prince Abdullah Al-Faisal Stadium in Jeddah, Badr Al-Khrashi scored in the last minute to earn a 1-1 draw for Al-Ahli with Al-Ittifaq. It was Saleh Basher who put the visitors ahead in the 81st minute. Earning one point kept the two sides Al-Ittifaq and Al-Ahli in the fifth and seventh spots respectively. Meanwhile, Al-Shabab recorded a 2-0 victory over Al-Hazm at the Prince Faisal Bin Fahd Stadium in Riyadh. Abdo Atif netted an early opener after three minutes before defender Faisal Al-Ebaili doubled the score in the 55th minute. The win put Al-Shabab in the fourth spot with 15 points while Al-Hazm stayed in the tenth place with only five points. In a match marred by rain in the Southern Province, Najran advanced to the eighth place on ten points after beating Riyadh-side Al-Nasr 1-0, thanks to the first half goal by Abdul Fatah Safi. After a two-week break for the World Cup qualifier the league will resume on Nov. 21 just two days after Saudi Arabia plays South Korea in the FIFA world cup qualifier in Riyadh. About 23 players join the preparatory camp next week for the Korea clash. Saudi Arabia will play two friendly matches against Thailand and Bahrain. __
