The problem is that Saudi drivers are always in a hurry. They disrespect other drivers especially foreigners. Their use of turn signals is practically nonexistent. Honestly speaking, it is chaos driving in Saudi Arabia. My suggestion is to begin by educating drivers about proper traffic rules, and the need to indicate turning and be patient. The focus should be on putting an end to reckless driving, rather than emphasizing only speeding and running red lights. Moreover, I have seen policemen and traffic police driving recklessly while using their phones. I've even seen people in uniform with their number plates covered while driving their personal cars. The traffic situation in the Kingdom won't change unless people here change their attitudes dramatically. NaSh Nash If those responsible for implementing traffic laws aren't interested in doing so, how will people ever learn? One can see traffic cops busy with their mobiles while driving erratically. End of story. Usama Khan Provide more driving, road safety and accident advertisement campaigns through television, newspaper and street ads. The cause of stupid driving is stupid drivers. Zaldy Rabalo One night recently, I returned home from Dammam and noticed that there was roadwork going on, but that there were no lights or signboards at the site. Without any warning, there were suddenly red barrels on the road a few meters ahead of me. I found it very difficult to stop the car in time. Allah saved me. I was with my family. They should use strong lights and warn people at least 500 meters before so that they can prepare to stop. Mohammed Waqaar Ahmed
