JEDDAH – The Ministry of Health (MOH) Media and Health Awareness Information Center launched its annual program “Hello, Healthy Ramadan” for the 11th consecutive year, the ministry's website announced. Through this program, the Center will host a group of consultant physicians and specialists in all fields who have been selected based on the public's demand and their need to learn more about particular diseases. Director of the Media and Health Awareness Information Center Amal Abu Al-Jadayel said the people can contact the physicians through the MOH toll free number 8002494444 and the MOH account on Twitter @SAUDIMOH. The Center hosted Dr. Razan Al-Muharib, the Pediatric Dentistry Specialist, on Monday to answer callers' queries on all matters related to dental diseases, especially among children as well as providing the public with the most prominent tips to help children and their families avoid diseases and health problems. The Center will host on Tuesday Dr. Rouaa Al-Harthy, a consultant in skin and hair diseases and laser, from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. to answer callers' queries on all matters related to skin diseases and dealing with them in Ramadan. The Center will host Dr. Khalid Al-Nemr, a consultant in cardiology, arterial catheterization and tomography and nuclear imaging, on Wednesday from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. to provide health advices for cardiac patients and speak with them about fasting in Ramadan. The Center will host on Thursday Consultant in Endocrinology and Diabetes Dr. Eman Shisha from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. to answer callers' queries on all matters related to fasting for diabetics. – SG
