ABHA — A fire broke out at a Saudi Telecom Company (STC) building in Khamis Mushayt, injuring 11 Civil Defense firefighters and seven STC employees. Asir Red Crescent spokesman Ahmad Asiri said most injuries were mild and treated on site. One firefighter was taken to hospital. Asir Civil Defense spokesman Col. Mohammad Al-Asmi said the fire resulted in dense smoke billowing from the building, which was evacuated as a precautionary measure.
