The Saudi Arabian Airlines started its first flight to the Yemeni port city of Aden in 15 years on Monday. Saudia will operate two weekly flights on Wednesdays and Fridays. “The beginning of the flights to Aden close to Haj is good news for pilgrims and the visitors,” said Khaled A. Al- Molhem, Director General of the airlines. The first flight carried 63 passengers who were welcomed warmly in the terminal by the airlines staff and each passenger was given a thanks certificate. “It's my first time to travel to Yemen and I'm so glad that I took the first flight there. The crew treated us gently and they were nice to us,” said Ali Salim Ba Arma, a Saudi passenger who was traveling to Yemen for treatment. – SG __
