Doctors only want money, will not take MERS risks

With regard to the post “Doctors who resign because of MERS scare are unethical” (Apr. 19), it is like a soldier who refuses to go into battle or war to defend his country. Doctors just want the money, respect and perks, but don't want to take any risks. They should ask for protection and safety measures if they are worried about contracting MERS.

As a doctor, if there are no safety services and protection, it is my right to save myself from a deadly disease. Those who talk about money are selfish. How much money will it take to make you spend time with a suspected MERS patient without any protection being offered?
