JEDDAH — Al Ryan Polyclinic, Jeddah organized a cultural musical night on its premises recently. Singers of “Young Talents Group” from Riyadh enthralled a huge gathering of Jeddah- and Riyadh-based Indian expatriates. Shuhaib T.P., CEO, Al Ryan International Polyclinic, addressed the gathering and highlighted the contributions of the polyclinic to community members in the city and its residents. He added: “Al Rayan polyclinic is fully equipped with medically and has highly qualified, experienced doctors, medical and para medical staff.” Shuhaib said: “Al-Ryan is conscious of its social responsibility by sponsoring sports and cultural events, and the musical night by Young Talent of Riyadh is just another feather in the polyclinic's cap in fostering social responsibility.” Dr. Mohammed Ashraf Ali, President APUS from Riyadh, was the Chief Guest of the event, and he expressed his gratitude to Al Rayan management for fabulously setting up the show. He also thanked the Indian community of Jeddah for attending and enjoying the event and their constant support. Mir Mahmood Ali, regional business and credit manager at Al Ryan Polyclinic, welcomed the guests and he too elaborated on the various the services offered by clinic. Dr. Sayeed Mohiuddin and Ghaffar Siddqui Amer conducted the program. Singers Mirza Omer Baig and Syed Sayeed presented Bollywood, Kishore Kumar and Mohammed Rafi's songs and mesmerized the audience. These two singers kept the audience spellbound for hours with their clean vocal rendition. The event was an unforgettable music fiesta for the audience to remember with a exceptional blend of Rafi and Kishore songs. Earlier, Dr. Sayeed Mohiuddin presented a couple of ghazals (Urdu poetry) of Jigjig Singh in his melodious voice. Syed Sayeed, after his performance, was of the view that the event was well received by Jeddah people and he enjoyed performing here. “I loved performing at Jeddah. It's an honor for us to present our group to those who are passionate about it.” Omar Bin Khunaizan, who enjoyed the show to the fullest in the audience, said, “A new episode in the history of musical performances in Jeddah by a Riyadh-based group has now begun.” Amjad Malik, a Jeddawi attendee, described the musical night as a perfect excursion. “The soulful ghazals by (Dr. Sayeed) Mohiuddin proved a special treat for a ghazal-lover like me,” said Malik. “I am excited to be part of this gathering because it provided attendees a proverbial feast for the ears and the heart,” he said. Prominent members of the Indian community from Riyadh and Jeddah were present at the show, in which a Riyadh-based journalist, Mir Mohsin Ali, was felicitated for his services in staging this function.
