We continue to prioritize career guidance for youth, and therefore support initiatives which contribute to this cause, with an ultimate goal of increasing economic productivity and increasing the country's competitive edge globally.” She added: “This is the fourth year for RTE and the exhibit will start on April 20, 2014 at the Prince Sultan Center for Science and Technology (SciTech) in Al-Khobar for two weeks. It will be open to students, allowing them to attend workshops and try out a variety of guidance tools, all to help young men and women rightly chose their careers. Moreover, what distinguishes our exhibit is the help of volunteer professionals who contribute hours at the exhibit to answer students' questions during the exhibit”. With the support of the Ministry of Education, Global Shapers' will visit students at schools based in the Eastern Province to present them with a variety of job professions and encourage them to visit the exhibit to ask their questions during the open dialogue sessions. Local Global Shapers Community Founding Curator Turki Al Theyeb pointed out that “there are no limits to serving our communities and our society, we believe in the positive effects of our initiative on the long run. It will help decrease unemployment and the turnover rate across all sectors. It will also increase each individual's knowledge to better evaluate their skills and build a brighter future for themselves and their children. We also aim to produce a year-end final report with the results of our work and present it to the Ministry of Education to further build on our initiative.” – SG
