Girl seriously hurt in motorbike crash

MAKKAH — An 8-year-old girl was seriously injured when the motorcycle she was riding crashed into another. Makkah province Red Crescent spokesman Ali Al-Ghamdi said the child was riding a motorcycle during a picnic with her family. She apparently lost control and crashed into another motorcycle, which a father was riding with his son. The child suffered serious injuries to her head and was rushed to the emergency unit at King Faisal Hospital in a critical condition. The father and son sustained minor injuries and were taken to the hospital for examination.
