MUMBAI —While actress Kangana Ranaut is busy creating waves with her latest film Queen at various promotional events, the actress is overwhelmed with the responses she has garnered from both the audiences and her industry counterparts. Kangana said: "Queen is important for me and the character is special for me. Everybody is applauding me for the work so let's keep the fingers crossed." She added, "High concept films should be made because today's generation expects different things. Even the society has moved forward. So you can't sell cliche films for many days." Ranaut is definitely on a roll, what with praises pouring in from all corners of B-town for her performance in Queen. After being complimented by megastar Amitabh Bachchan, Bollywood's women brigade has applauded the actress for her work in the film, which is up for a release a day before the International Women's day! Sonakshi, who watched Queen at a special screening held last night, posted on a micro-blogging site, "Just watched Queen. Kangana is phenominal. Vikas what a film you've made. Congrats Phantom, and thank u for making such a film!!! Sona thumakdi after watching." Actress-turned-producer Dia Mirza shared a series of posts saying, "I wasn't meant to watch it last night, but it beckoned me... It has been since I saw the first poster, then the trailer. #Queen I am so proud, excited and optimistic about how we are looking at our women in film! #Queen."
