RIYADH — Police detained two Iranian nationals for security reasons. Procedures are being finalized to refer one of the detainees to the Bureau of Investigation and Public Prosecution (BIP), while the other is still being questioned. "Window of Communication", an e-gate run by the Ministry of Interior, puts the number of detainees for security reasons at 2,514. They constitute some 40 nationalities, with Saudis being the largest number at 2,087. There are 204 Yemenis, 35 Yemenis, 35 Pakistanis, 29 Chadians, 24 Egyptians, 11 Palestinians and 10 Jordanians among the detainees. Others include two Burkinans, six Afghans, three Bangladeshis, three Ethiopians, four Eritreans, four Indians, seven Iraqis, four Lebanese, four Nigerians, four Somalis, six Sudanese and five people of unknown nationality. In addition, there is one each from Algeria, Angola, Australia, Cameroon, Djibouti, Kuwait, Kyrgyzstan, Libya, Mauritania, Oman, Nepal, Niger, Senegal, the UAE and Britain.
