With reference to the article “Special authority soon to tackle unemployment” (Feb. 18), the authorities should consider that Saudization is not just about creating jobs. There are a lot more to do. There are plenty of jobs but the real issue lies most importantly on the desire and work ethics of the Saudi youths. The relevant ministries should zero in on this issue first. Even if you create jobs but the locals don't want to work, the country's unemployment will not be solved. Another Reader, Online response II. Laziness is to blame. Why hire people who have no real intention of working? How does anyone expect Saudization to work if people who don't want to work are being forced?
