MAKKAH – Over 1,000 Saudi engineers have been hired to work for different departments at Jabal Omar Project Company (JOPC), said Fuad Moasli, director of hiring programs at the company. The engineers have degrees in civil, electrical or mechanical engineering. Several architects were also hired. Moasli said the company hires Saudis all year round as long as they are qualified. The company also offers an initial three-month training program to the recruits and an intense six-month training at a later stage. Engineers are also given English and computer courses to prepare them for their jobs
