Yves Rocher unveils new Evidence Intense
Published in The Saudi Gazette on 05 - 02 - 2014

THE number one French cosmetics company Yves Rocher has launched women's perfume Comme une Evidence L'Eau de Parfum Intense – a new gourmand floral chypre variation – 10 years after the successful launch of the original Comme une Evidence perfume in light of the overwhelming demand. It was developed by the prolific perfumer Annick Menardo.
The new Yves Rocher Comme une Evidence L'Eau de Parfum intense is a more powerful interpretation of the original Comme une Evidence created in 2003. The secret of its formula hides in the blend of essential oils of rose and jasmine grandiflorum blossom absolute with solar aromas.
Described as a gourmand chypre-floral, Comme une Evidence L'Eau de parfum intense starts with violet leaf for a green, absinthe-link effect. The heart is composed of jasmine, rose, sun-drenched notes and praline. The trail goes woody and musky.
Comme Une Evidence L'Eau de parfum intense is a more concentrated and sensual variation on Yves Rocher's best-selling perfume, Comme Une Evidence. “The evolution is obvious, but the fragrance is all the more charming in that it doesn't take itself too seriously,” the company said. The rectangular bottle is sleek, shading subtly from pink to almost transparent.
In ancient times, the Mediterranean island of Cyprus was celebrated for the know-how of its perfumers. By the end of the Middle Ages, the island was known for all sorts of fragrant powders. It was in recalling all this, that the grand perfumer François Coty imagined a liquid christened with its founder's name in 1917.
But Coty's Chypre was not just a name, but indeed an olfactory form of Bergamot, Rose, Jasmine, Ash moss and Patchouli. The whole blend, complex and ultra-chic, opened the way for a new olfactory family.
Today, more luminous than that of yesterday, thanks to the addition of fresh notes, sometime sparkling and often lightly fruity, the Chypre scent is reborn from its glorious past.
Essential oil of Bulgarian rose provides an extraordinary scent and possesses particular beauty. Rose is picked at dawn and provides a fruity-honey scent, which is in this fragrance combined with jasmine grandiflorum absolute grown in India. Fruity-honey rose and white jasmine are lightened and warmed with warm shades of the sun and together they create an exciting layered floral fragrance with irresistible attractiveness. The perfume poses the biggest concentration of fragrance now fits for women that are looking for excellence.
Faris Al-Jefri, Development Director at Al-Batoul International Trading Company Ltd, the exclusive agent of Yves Rocher in Saudi Arabia said “the new mixture adds distinctness to the pack 10 years after the introduction of the first Comme une Evidence L'Eau de Parfum. Simplicity and elegance that surround the women become more complicated, so the time for self development and raising the challenge to higher level to give women more happiness and feeling of beauty all the more become intense.”
The new perfume from Yves Rocher gives women an air of distinction, a beautiful smell that spreads in the air around her and the development of new perfume with new concentration, no comparison indeed! It is available in 50 ml rectangular bottle. – SG
