MAKKAH — The Labor Office in Makkah has continued its inspection campaigns of shops in Makkah. It carried out its third campaign that was headed by the assistant director general of the Ministry of Labor branch in Makkah province Abdulwahab Al-Faqih. During the campaign, a number of violations were detected, including workers not working for their designated sponsor, the work being different from that mentioned in the iqama (work permit) or the expatriate running his own business. The names of the violating shops will be followed up to check that they are no longer breaking the law.
