NEW ORLEANS — Tony Parker scored a team-high 27 points and Manu Ginobili bagged 14 in his return from injury as the San Antonio Spurs beat the New Orleans Pelicans 101-95 Monday. Tim Duncan finished with 18 points before fouling out and Parker chipped in another seven assists for the Spurs at New Orleans Arena. Ginobili missed two games with a hamstring problem. “When I saw TD (Duncan) go out, I knew I was going to be aggressive and try to create for myself or for my teammates,” Parker said. Kawhi Leonard finished with 13 points with six rebounds for the Spurs, who have won five straight and eight of their last nine games. Anthony Davis had 22 points, 11 rebounds, three steals and two blocks but it wasn't enough to prevent the Pelicans from losing their sixth consecutive game. “We had our chances tonight and we just didn't execute down the stretch,” New Orleans head coach Monty Williams said. Brian Roberts scored 19 points, while Eric Gordon added 12 points and Austin Rivers came off the bench to score 11 for New Orleans. San Antonio ended the third quarter with an 8-0 surge to take a 76-73 lead into the final quarter. Duncan fouled out with just over six minutes left in the fourth with the Spurs leading 89-87. But the Pelicans failed to take advantage of the departure. With the score 94-93 in favor of the San Antonio, Ginobili drove and passed to Leonard, who drained a three pointer from the corner with 2:05 left. Wizards 102, Bulls 88: Back in the starting lineup after coming off the bench for the last 12 games, Nene came alive with 19 points and several emphatic dunks, leading the Washington Wizards to a victory over the Chicago Bulls. Wizards guard John Wall added 18 points and seven assists and forward Trevor Ariza finished with 16 points. The Wizards (17-19) had lost eight of their last 10 games in Chicago but now have won seven of its last nine road games overall.
