Tefal unveils new Actifry
Published in The Saudi Gazette on 09 - 01 - 2014

AS part of its relentless efforts to enhance healthier family meals, Tefal, one of the industry leaders in small domestic appliances, launched Wednesday the upgraded version of its bestselling kitchen appliance Actifry.
The newer model of the Actifry, the industry's leader in non-oil fryer category, has a larger capacity of 1.2 kg and a snack grid catered to perfecting more delicate foods such as kebbe, chicken nuggets and sambosa.

Pauline Stephan, Marketing Director of Tefal's parent company, Groupe SEB Middle East and Africa, said: “Building on our strategy of continually enhancing our customers' cooking experience and in promoting healthier food recipes for the entire family, we are delighted to launch our upgraded family-size model of Actifry in 1.2 kg capacity.”
She added, “I am confident the new Actifry 1.2 kg, which also comes with a snack grid for delicate food, will make a great addition to every household that is looking to rejoice their gatherings with healthy and delicious meals.”
As with all the French-made Actifry range, this larger capacity model, promotes healthy frying with the use of only one spoon of oil for fresh food and no oil for frozen food. Kebbe, sambosa and chicken nuggets enthusiasts can now enjoy their favorite meals when cooking with the snack grid, without compromising on the taste or texture of those delicate dishes.
“As a pioneer and innovator of bestselling kitchen appliances, Tefal believes in bringing its customers across the world, and especially in the Middle East, a product that can deliver healthy meals, without compromising on the taste. It is a win-win formula that makes Actifry a leader in its category,” Stephan further said.
Tefal has pioneered healthy cooking innovations by launching the Actifry range, back in 2007. The Tefal Actifry 1.2 kg gives consumers the opportunity to discover great culinary classics, which easily fit into a balanced, simple and tasty meal. The new product is available at all major consumer electronics retailers across the region at a SRP (suggested retail price) of SR999. — SG
