Local Haj companies have started presenting guarantee documents of service delivery during Haj to the Ministry of Haj. The companies will receive their allotment of tents in the holy sites next week. The ministry has assigned inspection teams to tour the Kingdom to verify the licenses of local Haj companies; a measure taken to curb fake companies. Last season, inspection teams busted 28 fake Haj companies across the nation. After the shutdown of their offices, fake Haj operators were ordered to refund those pilgrims who fell prey to their illegal business. The operators have been reported to the authorities and penalties will be imposed on them. – Okaz __
