A statistical survey by the Anti-Drug Department has revealed that huge quantities of narcotics were seized in August and September. Over six million narcotic pills were confiscated in Riyadh, Hafr Al-Batin, Al-Hudaitha Border Crossing, Jeddah Seaport, and Al-Bade'a Rural Center, and 120,942 kg of hashish seized in the Eastern Province, Jeddah, Taif and Khamis Mashayt. In Makkah, 1,696 kg of heroin was seized. – Okaz __
